📖 “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are.”

— 1 John 3:1 (NIV)

🟡 What does this mean?

This verse reminds us that God loves us in an incredible and perfect way.

His love is so great that He adopted us as His children.

It’s not just a nice title: we truly are part of His family, with all the care, blessings, and promises that entails.

No matter what others think, to God we are loved and valuable.

🧠 Let's think for a moment

Have you felt how wonderful it is when someone calls you by your name with affection?

That’s how God is with you: He knows you, loves you, and calls you “my son” or “my daughter.”

That means you are never alone and will always have a Father who protects and guides you.

🙌 What can we do today?

Be thankful to God for His great love

Remember every day that we are children of God

Live in a way that shows we belong to His family

Share with others that they too can be part of God’s family

💬 Phrase to remember

👉 I am a child of God and His love will never leave me.

🙏 Final prayer

Beloved Father, thank You for loving me so much and for calling me Your child. Help me to live each day remembering that I am part of Your family. Teach me to trust in Your care and to share Your love with others. Amen. 🙏
