“Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger.”
— Ephesians 4:26
💡 What does this mean?
Sometimes we feel anger when something is unfair, when someone lies, or when we are treated badly.
Jesus also got angry, but His anger was different.
He got angry when He saw people disobeying God or hurting others.
His anger did not lead Him to shout, insult, or hurt, but to do what was right.
🤔 Let's think for a moment
When Jesus saw that things were being sold in the temple instead of praying, He got angry because He loved His Father's house.
When the Pharisees criticized the sick, He got angry because they had no compassion.
And when the disciples did not let the children come near, Jesus was indignant… because He loved the children! 🧒💖
Jesus' anger always came from love, not pride.
🌱 What can we do today?
Today, if something makes you angry, take a deep breath and pray to God.
Say to Him: “Lord, help me not to respond badly, but with love.”
Remember: anger can be good if we use it to defend what is right and not to hurt.
💬 Phrase to remember
🔥 “Jesus teaches me to control my anger with love.”
🙏 Final prayer
Lord Jesus,
thank you for teaching me that anger is not always bad,
but that I must guard it so as not to sin.
Help me to have a heart like yours:
full of justice, love, and patience.
Amen. 🙌
