Tip: read the verse out loud and say a short prayer together as a family.

📖 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” — Luke 6:37

🌟 What does this mean?

Jesus teaches us that our heart should be like His: full of love and willing to forgive.

Sometimes it’s easy to criticize, point fingers, or hold grudges, but Jesus invites us to do the opposite: not to judge, not to condemn, and to forgive, because that is how God treats us.

God wants us to live free, without burdens, without anger, and without guilt.

🤔 Let’s think for a moment

Have you ever been so angry with someone that you didn’t want to talk to them?

Or did you make a mistake and feared being judged?

Jesus knows that we all make mistakes.

That’s why He asks us to look at others with eyes of mercy, not with harshness.

When you forgive, your heart becomes lighter, happier, and more like God’s.

Forgiveness doesn’t erase what happened, but it heals your heart.

💛 What can we do today?

To live this verse, today you can:

Forgive someone who has upset you.

Do not criticize or mock anyone.

Apologize if you were wrong.

Pray for the people you find hard to love.

Every small act of forgiveness brings your heart closer to Jesus'.

Phrase to remember

When I forgive, my heart becomes more like Jesus'.

🙏 Final prayer

Lord Jesus, thank you for always forgiving me and not judging me as I deserve.

Help me not to criticize, not to condemn, and to have a heart that forgives as you forgive.

Fill me with your love and mercy so I can treat others as you treat me.

Make my life a reflection of your grace.

Amen. 💛
