Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

🟡 What does this mean?

Jesus invites us to come to Him when we are tired, sad, or worried. He does not want us to carry our burdens alone. By trusting in Him, we find true rest and peace. Jesus is humble and full of love, and with Him our soul finds relief.

🧠 Let's think for a moment

Have you ever felt like you are carrying a very heavy backpack? Imagine it full of worries, problems, or fears. Jesus says: “Come to me, I want to help you carry it.” When we pray and trust in Him, our burden becomes lighter and our heart rests.

🙌 What can we do today?

Tell Jesus our worries in prayer.

Learn from His example of gentleness and humility.

Rest in Him when something seems difficult to us.

Remember that we are not alone: Jesus always wants to help us.

💬 Phrase to remember

👉 “In Jesus I find rest and peace.”

🙏 Final prayer

Lord Jesus, thank you because You invite me to come to You with my burdens. Today I give You my worries and rest in Your love. Teach me to be gentle and humble like You, and to always trust in Your care. Amen.
