Have you ever had 2 bosses giving you different orders....

📖 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.” — Matthew 6:24

💬 What does this mean?

Jesus teaches us that we cannot have a divided heart. We cannot say we love God and at the same time let other things be more important than Him—like money, games, or fame.

Serving God means putting Him first and letting Him guide our decisions every day.

🤔 Let's think for a moment

Sometimes we want to do what everyone else does, even though we know it’s not right. But when we decide to follow Jesus, we choose the right path, even if it’s different.

He wants us to trust Him more than anything else, because only then will we find true peace and joy.

🙌 What can we do today?

Today you can pray and say to God:

“Lord, I want to serve only You. Help me not to be distracted by things that take me away from Your love.”

You can also choose an action that shows you serve God, like helping someone, obeying your parents, or sharing a word of encouragement with a friend.

💡 Phrase to remember

“I cannot serve two masters, only my God of love.”

🙏 Final prayer

“Lord Jesus, thank You because You teach me to choose what is right.

Help me to have a firm heart that serves only You.

Cleanse me from everything that separates me from Your will and teach me to live each day pleasing You.

Amen.
