When you don't know what to do, lift up your eyes.

familyidentityprayerdevotional

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord, creator of heaven and earth.

1. What does this mean?

This verse teaches us something very important:

When we have a problem, when we feel afraid, or when we don't know what to do, we can lift up our eyes and remember that God is the one who always helps us.

He is the creator of everything that exists… and yet He cares for you!

We do not depend on luck, nor on our own strength.

We depend on a Father who never fails.

2. Let's think for a moment

Have you ever felt worried, sad, or confused?

Sometimes we look around for answers and don't find them.

But this psalm reminds us:

👉 The help you need is not far away… it comes from the Lord.

He listens to you, accompanies you, and strengthens you.

3. What can we do today?

Today you can practice something very simple but powerful:

When you have a difficult moment, stop for a second and say:

Lord, I need your help.

Lift your heart to Him, like someone looking up to the sky searching for their Dad.

God always answers, sometimes in silence, sometimes with peace, sometimes with a new idea, but He is always with you.

4. Phrase to remember

My help comes from the Lord.

5. Final prayer

Lord Jesus, thank you because you always help me.

Thank you because when I am afraid, You are with me.

When I don't know what to do, You guide me.

Today I lift my eyes to You and trust in your love.

Take care of my life, my family, and my heart.

In Jesus' name, amen.
