Did you know that time is gold?

familyprayerfriendshipdevotional

Making the best use of time, because the days are evil.

💛 What does this mean?

This verse teaches us that time is a gift God gives us, and we must use it in the best way.

There are many things that can distract us or take us away from what God wants for us, but the Bible encourages us to use our time to do good, learn from Jesus, and grow in faith.

🤔 Let's think for a moment

We all have 24 hours each day.

But... how do we use them?

Sometimes time slips away on things that don't bring us closer to God: arguments, uncontrolled video games, social media, or simply wasting the day without purpose.

But when we dedicate our time to good things — praying, reading the Bible, obeying, helping, learning — our day changes.

God wants you to make the best use of your time in a way that blesses your life and that of others.

🌈 What can we do today?

Here are simple ideas to "make the best use of time":

Spend 2 minutes talking to Jesus

Read a verse before sleeping

Help mom or dad at home

Do your homework responsibly

Be kind to a friend

Choose an activity that helps you grow (not just entertain)

Every small decision counts.

🧠 Phrase to remember

“Time is a gift from God. Today I want to use it well.”

🙏 Final prayer

Lord Jesus,

thank you for the time you give me each day.

Help me use it well, make good decisions, and draw closer to you.

Teach me to make the most of every moment to do good and show your love.

Watch over my heart and guide my day.

Amen.
