📖 “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” — Psalm 56:3
💡 What does this mean?
This verse was written by David, a man who loved God and who, even though brave, also felt fear many times.
When he was in danger, David did not try to hide his fear...
He gave it to God and decided to trust in His care. 🙏
This teaches us that feeling fear is not wrong, but staying in fear is.
God wants us to learn to say:
“Lord, I am afraid, but I trust in you.”
🤔 Let's think for a moment
Have you ever felt afraid? 😟
Maybe because of the dark, speaking in public, being sick, or something you don’t understand.
David felt that too, but he didn’t let fear stop him.
Every time he was afraid, he remembered that God was by his side, caring for him and strengthening him. 💪✨
Just as a father protects his child, God holds your hand when you are scared. 🕊
🌈 What can we do today?
Pray when you are afraid: Tell God how you feel and ask for His help.
Remember His promise: God is always with you, even if you don't see Him.
Sing or read a verse: Filling your mind with His word will give you peace.
Help others: If you see someone who is afraid, remind them that God loves them. 💛
Phrase to remember
When I am afraid, I choose to trust in God." 🌿
🙏 Final prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for being with me at all times.
Sometimes I feel afraid, but today I choose to trust in You.
Give me peace in my heart and faith to keep going.
Help me remember that You are greater than any fear.
In Jesus' name, amen." 🌈
