What do you do when you want to feel peace?

faithfamilyprayerdevotional

📖 “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” — Isaiah 26:3

🌟 What does this mean?

This verse teaches us that God watches over our heart and mind when we trust in Him.

It means that even when we have fear, doubts, or worries, God can give us such great peace that nothing can take it away.

God’s peace is different:

It does not depend on what happens around us

It is not easily broken

It is a gift for those who trust in Him

🤔 Let’s think for a moment

Have you ever felt nervous, worried, or sad?

Sometimes problems seem very big… but God is even bigger.

When we look to God, pray, and remember that He is with us, our heart calms down.

Just as a child feels safe when their dad or mom holds their hand, we feel safe when we trust in God.

💛 What can we do today?

Today you can try three simple things:

Take a deep breath and tell God what worries you.

Think of something good that God has done for you.

Remember that you are not alone: God is always with you.

Do this throughout the day, and you will see how God's peace touches your heart.

Phrase to remember

God gives me peace when I trust in Him.

🙏 Final prayer

Lord Jesus, thank you for taking care of me and giving me peace.

Help me to trust in you when I feel worried or afraid.

Fill my heart with your love and help me remember that I am never alone.

Amen.
