Biblical text:
“Give thanks to God in every situation, for this is His will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
🌱 What does this mean?
This verse teaches us that God wants us to have a grateful heart. It doesn’t mean that everything that happens to us is easy or pleasant, but that God is with us at all times, and that is why we can give thanks.
Giving thanks is trusting that God knows what He is doing and loves us.
🤔 Let's think for a moment
Have you ever felt sad or worried?
Is it hard for you to give thanks when something doesn’t turn out as you expected?
God reminds us that even in those moments He is still good and does not abandon us.
🙌 What can we do today?
Give thanks to God for three things, even if they are small.
Say “thank you God” for our family, food, school, or friends.
Learn to trust God even when we don’t understand everything.
A grateful heart brings peace and joy.
💬 Phrase to remember
“I can always give thanks to God.” 💛
🙏 Final prayer
“Lord, thank you for loving me and taking care of me every day. Help me to give thanks in good times and also in difficult times. I want to trust You and have a grateful heart. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
