Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.

🟡 What does this mean?

This verse reminds us that teaching children the way of God is like planting a seed in the heart. That seed grows and stays with the person throughout their life, even when they are older. God wants us to learn to love Him and live according to His Word from a young age.

🧠 Let's think for a moment

When you learn something important, like riding a bike or reading, you never forget it. The same happens with what we learn about God: if from a young age we pray, read the Bible, and serve, those teachings remain in our hearts forever.

🙌 What can we do today?

Take a moment to read a Bible verse as a family.

Pray before sleeping, thanking God for the day.

Remember that what we learn about Jesus today will be a guide for life.

💬 Phrase to remember

👉 “What I learn about God today will always accompany me.”

🙏 Final prayer

Lord, thank you for Your Word that teaches me the right path. Help me to learn more about You every day and to keep Your teachings in my heart. May what I learn now guide me always, even when I am older. Amen.
