The Lord is my shepherd; I lack nothing.
💛 What does this mean?
This verse teaches us that God cares for us like a shepherd cares for his sheep.
A shepherd is always attentive, protects, feeds, guides, and accompanies.
That is how God is with us: He takes care of everything we need, not only material things but also our hearts, our emotions, and our lives.
🤔 Let's think for a moment
Have you ever felt lost, worried, or afraid?
A sheep gets scared easily when it is alone… but when it is with its shepherd, it feels safe.
The same happens with us:
When we remember that God is our Shepherd, we can feel peace again because He always knows what to do and where to lead us.
🌈 What can we do today?
When you feel worried, say: “Jesus, you are my Shepherd.”
Ask God to guide you in your decisions today.
Trust that He is with you at school, at home, with your family, and in everything you do.
Give thanks for something God has already provided for you today.
🧠 Phrase to remember
“With God as my Shepherd, I am secure and I shall not want.”
🙏 Closing prayer
Lord Jesus,
thank you for caring for me as my Good Shepherd.
Help me to trust in you every day, to not be afraid, and to know that you always provide what I need.
Guide me on the right path and fill my heart with peace.
Amen.
