📖 “You come to me with a sword, spear, and javelin; but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts.” — 1 Samuel 17:45
💡 What does this mean?
This verse reminds us of the story of David and Goliath.
David was just a young shepherd, without powerful weapons or armor. But he had something Goliath did not have: a firm faith in God.
While Goliath trusted in his strength and size, David trusted in the power of the Lord.
And thanks to that faith, God gave him the victory.
👉 It means that no matter how big your problems are, if you trust in God, He will give you the strength to overcome them.
🤔 Let's think for a moment
Have you ever had a “giant” in your life? 😟
Maybe a fear, a sadness, or something that seems impossible to overcome.
David teaches us that we don’t have to be the strongest or the biggest…
We just have to believe that God is with us and not be afraid to take the step of faith.
When you put Jesus first, the “giants” begin to fall. 🕊
🌈 What can we do today?
Trust in God: When you are afraid, say: “Lord, help me, I trust in You.”
Pray before you act: Like David, seek God before facing your challenges.
Speak with faith: Instead of saying "I can't," say "With God, I can." 💪
Help others be courageous: Remind them that with Jesus, everything is possible.
💖 Phrase to remember
With God by my side, no giant can defeat me." 🏆
🙏 Final prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You because You are greater than all my problems.
Sometimes I am afraid, but today I choose to trust You.
Give me the courage of David, the faith to face my giants, and the certainty that You always fight for me.
In Your name, Jesus, I trust and rest.
Amen." 💛
