Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, that is the one who loves me; and the one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.
🟡 What does this mean?
Jesus teaches us that true love for Him is not just about nice words, but it is shown by obeying what He commands us: to love God and others, to forgive, to help, to be honest. When we do this, we show that we really love Him, and the promise is wonderful: the Father loves us and Jesus makes Himself present in our lives.
🧠 Let's think for a moment
Many times we say "I love Jesus," but is it noticeable in what we do? Loving Jesus is like loving our parents: we don't just say "I love you," we also show it by obeying, listening, and doing what is right.
🙌 What can we do today?
Remember that every act of obedience is a way of telling Jesus: "I love you.
Decide to obey in small things: telling the truth, being generous, forgiving quickly.
Ask the Holy Spirit to help us love as Jesus loved us.
💬 Phrase to remember
Loving Jesus is obeying with the heart." ❤️✝️
🙏 Final prayer
Lord Jesus, thank you because you love me and because you show me your love every day. Help me to show my love for you by obeying your commandments. Teach me to love others, to forgive, and to live as You want. Amen.
