He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
💛 What does this mean?
This verse tells us that God is like a safe house, a place where we can always take refuge.
Dwelling in the shelter of God" means being close to Him, spending time with Him, and trusting that He takes care of us.
When we are under His "shadow," we are protected, just like a child who hides under their father's shadow to feel safe.
🤔 Let's think for a moment
Sometimes we can feel fear, sadness, or worry.
But God does not want us to live like that.
He wants us to know that He is always with us, covering us, caring for us, and giving us peace.
If we learn to seek Him every day, our hearts fill with security and love.
🌈 What can we do today?
Today you can draw near to God in simple ways:
Pray: "God, stay with me today.
Read a verse before going to sleep.
Tell Jesus your fears or joys.
Thinking that God is with you when something scares you.
Helping others, because it is also a way to live close to Him.
Every small step brings us closer to His shelter.
🧠 Phrase to remember
With God I am safe, He is my protected place.
🙏 Final prayer
Lord Jesus,
thank you for being my refuge and my safe home.
Help me to be close to You every day,
to trust in your care and your love,
and to remember that I am never alone.
Cover me with your shadow and guide me with your peace.
Amen.
