📖 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”
— Galatians 5:22 (NIV)
🟡 What does this mean?
This verse teaches us that when the Holy Spirit lives in us, it begins to produce a special “fruit” in our lives.
This fruit is not like apples or oranges, but qualities that show the character of Jesus in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
The closer we are to God, the more this fruit grows in our hearts.
🧠 Let's think for a moment
Have you seen how a tree bears fruit little by little?
It doesn't happen overnight: it needs care, water, and sun.
Our hearts are the same: to bear the fruit of the Spirit, we need to spend time with God, pray, read the Bible, and obey Him.
🙌 What can we do today?
Ask God for the fruit of His Spirit to grow in us
Show love and kindness to those around us
Be patient and control our emotions
Remember that our actions speak of Jesus to others
💬 Phrase to remember
👉 I want my life to show the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
🙏 Closing prayer
Lord, thank you for the gift of your Holy Spirit. Help me to live each day showing love, joy, peace, patience, and all the qualities that come from You. Make my life like a tree that bears good fruit so that others can see Jesus in me. Amen. 🙏
