Have you ever prayed and doubted if God was listening to you?

faithprayerwisdomdevotional

“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.”

— James 1:6

💡 What does this mean?

This verse teaches us that when we ask God for something, we must do so with faith and confidence, without doubting that He hears our prayers.

God wants us to trust Him, even when we do not yet see the answer. Doubting is like a wave of the sea that goes back and forth, but firm faith keeps us secure.

🤔 Let's think for a moment

Sometimes we pray and think, “Does God really hear me?”

That doubt takes away our peace. But when we remember who God is—our loving Father—we understand that He always listens and answers at the perfect time.

🌱 What can we do today?

Today you can talk to God about something that worries you.

Ask Him with faith and say, “Lord, I trust You, even though I don’t understand everything.”

And when you feel fear or doubt, remember that God never fails. 🌈

💬 Phrase to remember

“Faith is trusting God, even when I don’t yet see the miracle.”

🙏 Final prayer

Lord Jesus,

help me to believe with all my heart.

When I pray, may my faith be strong and my mind at peace.

Thank you because you always listen and because I can trust in You.

Amen. 💖
