But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

🟡 What does this mean?

This verse was said by Joshua, a great leader of the people of Israel. He was saying: “Even if others follow other gods or do bad things, my family and I will always serve the Lord.” It means deciding to love and obey God every day, no matter what others do.

🧠 Let's think for a moment

Nowadays there are many things that want to distract us from God: games, television, social media, or people who say we don't need to pray. But God wants us to remember that the most important thing is to choose Him, because when we do, our home and our life are full of blessing.

🙌 What can we do today?

Today you can make a decision in your heart: “I want to follow Jesus.” You can pray with your family, read a Bible verse together, or give thanks before eating. That is serving God in the simple things.

💬 Phrase to remember

👉 “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

🙏 Final prayer

Lord Jesus, thank you for my family and for your love. Help us to choose you every day and to serve you joyfully in our home. May everything we do honor you. Amen.
