Read devotional📖 “For this is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Whoever touches you touches the apple of my eye.’”
— Zechariah 2:8 (NIV)
This verse teaches us that God cares for us with a very special love.
The “apple of his eye” is the most delicate and protected part of the eye.
Just as we protect our eyes from any danger, God protects us.
To Him, we are very valuable and He will not allow anyone to harm us without His permission.
Have you ever quickly closed your eyes when something was coming toward them?
We do this because our eyes are important and fragile.
In the same way, God protects us with care and love because we are very special to Him.
This means that we are not alone and we are always under His loving watch.
Give thanks to God for His care and protection
Trust that God always defends and guards us
Remember that our worth comes from what God thinks of us
Treat others with love, because they are also valuable to God
👉 I am so valuable to God that He protects me like the apple of His eye.
Lord, thank You because You love me and protect me with such care. Help me to always trust in Your protection and love. Remind me that I am valuable to You and that You never leave me alone. Amen. 🙏
