This verse teaches us that love is the most important thing in the Christian life.
We can be kind, patient, or generous, but if we do not have love, we lack the main thing.
Love binds people together like a very strong and special bond, and reflects God's heart in us.

Have you dressed yourself today? Surely yes!
Just as every day we put on clothes, God wants us to put on love every day.
That means treating everyone with kindness, even those we don't like so much, and always acting with the intention of doing good.
