Have you felt true joy?

Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.

💛 What does this mean?

This verse teaches us that true joy comes from being close to God.

Delighting in the Lord" means loving to spend time with Him, enjoying His company, seeking His will, and trusting that He knows what we truly need.

When our heart rejoices in God, He places good, pure, and beautiful desires within us, and He also helps us fulfill them.

🤔 Let's think for a moment

Sometimes children desire things that are not always good or that are fleeting.

But when we are close to God, our heart begins to desire things that help us grow, things that bring us closer to Jesus, things that fill us with peace and love.

Do you realize?

God not only gives you what you ask for...

He transforms your heart so that you desire the best.

🌟 What can we do today?

Today you can draw near to God in simple ways:

Pray: "Lord, I want to rejoice in You.

Read a verse and think about what it means.

Give thanks for something good that God has given you.

Do an act of love towards someone.

Every time you seek God with joy, your heart is strengthened and your desires align with those of Jesus.
