Main teaching

God keeps His promises

The story of Isaiah teaches us that we can trust God.

Although the people were going through difficult times, God had a plan and gave them a promise full of hope:Jesus would come.

It is important for children to understand that God is still trustworthy.

When they are sad, worried, or afraid, we can teach them to remember:

God does not forget us. We can trust Him.

Isaiah announced the coming of Jesus long before it happened, and the teaching presented in this lesson is simple and powerful:

God keeps His promises.

Phrase to remember

God keeps His promises.

We can also close the class by repeating together:

After telling the story, you can ask these questions:

  1. Who spoke about Jesus before He was born?
  2. What did God promise?
  3. Who was the child Isaiah was talking about?
