Samson: Strong on the Outside, Weak on the Inside

Introduction

The story of Samson teaches a very important truth for children: true strength does not come only from muscles, nor from what we can do by ourselves. True strength comes from God.

Samson was a man chosen by God even before he was born. God gave him special strength, but Samson began to trust more in himself than in the Lord. Even so, when he recognized his need and prayed to God, the Lord listened to him.

This Bible class helps children understand that God wants us to depend on Him, to ask Him for help, and to remember that even when we fail, we can return to God with a repentant heart.

Summary of the story

Samson was chosen by God before he was born. The Lord gave him special strength to fulfill a purpose. However, over time, Samson began to disobey and trust too much in himself.

Delilah deceived him, Samson lost his strength and was captured by his enemies. But at the most difficult moment of his life, Samson prayed to God and said:

“Lord God, remember me now!”

God heard his prayer and showed that true strength always comes from Him.
