📖Bible Story: Jesus Raises Lazarus
Have you ever felt that something had no solution?
That’s exactly what happened in this story. Lazarus, a very dear friend of Jesus, was sick. His sisters, Martha and Mary, were very worried and sent word to Jesus.
But Jesus did not arrive immediately...
And then something very sad happened: Lazarus died.
For Martha, Mary, and many others, it seemed like everything was over. There were tears, pain, and much sadness. Lazarus had been in the tomb for four days, and it seemed impossible that anything could change.
But when Jesus arrived, He did not come without hope.
Jesus approached the place where Lazarus was, and although everyone was crying, He showed that God could still do something powerful.
Then Jesus said in a loud voice:
👉 “Lazarus, come out!”
And a surprising miracle happened...
✨ Lazarus came out walking! ✨
The man who was dead came back to life, because Jesus has power over death.
What does this story teach?
This beautiful story reminds us of very important truths:
Jesus has power over life and death God can work even when everything seems lost
Jesus understands our pain and draws near to us
Faith helps us trust even when we don't understand
For God, it is never too late
Let's think for a moment
Imagine you are going through a difficult time…
Maybe something worries you, something hurts, or you feel there is no solution.
Martha and Mary also felt sadness. They did not understand why Jesus did not arrive sooner. But Jesus had a greater purpose: to show the glory of God and teach that He is the resurrection and the life.
Sometimes we also want God to answer quickly… but this story reminds us that Jesus never arrives late. He knows what He is doing, and His timing is always perfect.
What can we do today?
Trust Jesus when something seems impossible
Pray when we feel sadness or worry
Remember that God is in control
Believe that Jesus can bring life and hope
Encourage others with faith in God

Lord Jesus,
Thank you because you have power over everything.
Thank you because you understand my pain
and you come close to me when I am sad.
Help me to trust you,
even when I don't understand what is happening.
Teach me to wait on your timing
and to believe that with you there is always hope.
