Read miracleDid you know that Jesus calmed a storm, walked on water, healed the sick, and even brought people back to life after they had died? 😮
Imagine being in a small boat while the waves crash fiercely… or seeing thousands of hungry people when there are only five loaves and two fish.
They seemed like impossible situations. But Jesus showed that His power is greater than any difficulty. ❤️
The Bible tells us many miracles that Jesus performed during His ministry on earth. Each one reveals something wonderful about His love, compassion, and authority.
✨ Today we will discover 19 miracles of Jesus that teach us to trust in Him!
One night, the disciples were in a boat when a strong storm began. They were so afraid they thought they would sink.
But Jesus got up and commanded the wind and the sea to be still.
And everything became calm! (Mark 4:35-41).
On another occasion, Jesus walked on the water and held Peter when he began to sink (Matthew 14:22-33).
👉 These miracles remind us that even when we feel afraid, we can turn to Jesus and trust in His care.
Can you imagine feeding thousands of people with only five loaves and two fish?
Jesus did it!
A child had that small amount of food. Jesus gave thanks to God and the food was enough to feed a large crowd. And there was still some left over!
He also performed a miraculous catch of fish when Peter and his companions had worked all night without catching any fish.
And at a wedding in Cana, Jesus turned water into wine.
✨ These miracles teach us that Jesus has the power to provide and that we can trust Him even when our resources seem insufficient.
The Bible tells that many people came to Jesus seeking help.
Among them were:
Each story is different, but they all show us something very beautiful:
👉 Jesus was not indifferent to the suffering of people. He looked at them with love and compassion.
And today we too can come to God in prayer, share our concerns with Him, and trust in His love.
There were moments when some families thought they had lost all hope.
Jairus was crying because his little daughter had died. But Jesus took the girl's hand and told her to get up. And she came back to life!
In the city of Nain, Jesus had compassion on a widow who had lost her only son. He approached the young man and brought him back to life.
And when Lazarus died, his sisters Martha and Mary were deeply saddened.
Jesus also wept.
But then he went to the tomb and called Lazarus to come out. And Lazarus came out alive!
These stories teach us that Jesus has authority even over death and invite us to put our hope in Him.
Mary Magdalene had been freed from seven demons and became one of the women who followed Jesus.
We also know the story of a man who lived among the tombs, tormented by evil spirits. Jesus freed him, and that man received a new chance to live in peace.
These miracles show that Jesus has authority over evil and that His mercy can profoundly transform a life.
💛 To Jesus, no person is too small, insignificant, or forgotten.
Not all of Jesus' miracles were healings or demonstrations of provision.
On one occasion, Jesus approached a fig tree that had leaves but found no fruit on it. After Jesus spoke, the tree withered.
This event, recounted in Mark 11, is also related to His teachings about faith and prayer.
It invites us to reflect on something important:
It is not enough to merely appear to love God. Our faith must also be reflected in the way we live.
👉 Loving, forgiving, helping, and obeying God are ways to show a faith that bears fruit.
These wonderful biblical stories remind us of very important truths:
Miracles do not mean that we will never have problems or that all our requests will receive the answer we expect.
But they do remind us that Jesus is powerful, compassionate, and worthy of our trust.
Imagine you are in that boat with the disciples.
The wind blows, the waves grow, and you are very afraid.
But then you remember that Jesus is with you.
What would you do?
Would you tell Him how you feel? Would you ask Him for help? Would you trust Him?
Sometimes our storms are not of water or wind.
They can be a difficult exam, a family worry, an illness, or a situation we don’t know how to resolve.
In those moments we can remember that we are not alone.
❤️ Jesus invites us to come to Him with faith, even when we are afraid.
We can learn from Jesus’ miracles and bring His teachings into our daily lives:
Remember that we don't need to do great things to show our faith. A small act of love can also make a big difference.
👉 “The power of Jesus is great, His love is infinite, and in Him we can always trust.”
Lord Jesus,
thank you for showing us your love and power through the miracles we find in the Bible.
Thank you because you hear our prayers and know what is in our hearts.
When I am afraid, help me to trust in you.
When I face difficulties, give me strength to keep going.
Teach me to be grateful, to help others, and to live with true faith.
May each day I get to know you more and share your love with my family and friends.
In your name, Jesus.
Amen. ❤️
